POWER SUPPLY OUTLETS
This black octal socket is present in Model 8 only. The next Model 8B don’t have it. It allows to plug in a Marantz mono pre-amp directly into power amp.

TRIODE MODE
Both models allow the triode mode conversion by moving four resistors inside the device. Thereby the output power is reduced by about half. The triode operational was quite popular in 60s. Less power but also less heat and consumption.

TRIODE MODE (MODALITA’ TRIODO)
Entrambi i modelli consentono la conversione in modalità triodo, mediante la disconnessione di quattro resistenze poste sul fondo dell’apparecchio. Si riduce in tal modo la potenza di uscita di circa la metà ma parimenti si riduce la dispersione termica e il consumo. L’operazione era abbastanza in voga negli anni sessanta.
